Dr. John A. Carollo

A native of Newark, Dr. John Carollo has lived in New Jersey his entire life. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Dental Medicine from University of Medicine and Dentis-try of New Jersey., (Now Rutgers Dental School). He has maintained his current practice in Florham Park since 1985. For more than 30 years Dr. Carollo has built an impeccable reputation in the community.
Throughout the dental profession, Dr. Carollo is a respected author, lecturer and peer. Dr. Carollo has presented over 300 lectures on Dental Implants, Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Sleep Medicine. He has helped thousands of dentists learn about the latest clinical techniques both nationally and internationally. In addition, he has written more than 20 articles that have been published in a variety of dental journals. At the same time, he actively searches for opportunities to expand his knowledge and to learn from others.
Away from the practice, Dr. Carollo stays busy. He is very proud to be the Official Team Dentist of the New York Jets since 2006. In addition, he is a NJ Top Dentist since 2005, Dr. Carollo enjoys spending time golfing and with his family at the NJ Shore. He is married with two daughters and is an avid photographer.

Dr. Sufian Mahmoud

Dr. Sufian Mahmoud is a native of New Jersey. He graduated with honors from Rutgers University with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Criminal Justice before heading to Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, where he earned his doctoral degree as a Doctor of Dental Medicine. He completed an externship in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery at UMDNJ and a general practice dental residency at Newark Beth Israel – St. Barnabas Health. During his residency he completed extensive training in restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, pedodontics, and oral surgery under the guidance of internationally recognized practitioners.
Dr. Sufian, DMD, remains committed to teaching and learning dentistry. He attends countless hours of continuing education courses all over the country and internationally each year. He is also a member of the several reputable dental associations and academies.
Over the past years he has seen many patients who avoided dental care because of anxiety and pho-bias. Because he felt a need to better serve these fearful patients he committed himself to treating the underserved. He has been awarded several awards for his ethical and outstanding doctor-patient relationships.
He emphasizes cosmetic and complex restorative dentistry which includes the placement/ restoration of dental implants and other advanced surgical procedures.
Aside from dentistry Dr. Sufian enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, hiking, and working with non-profit organizations.
